In this classic skit from the Seattle tv show "Almost Live", Pat Cashman stars as an over enthusiastic salesman trying to get customers to his closing sale. The skit stars off as a normal commercial and quickly escalates into a hilarious collection of metaphors that will have you laughing out loud. Easily one of the best top ten bits that Almost live did. Cashman pulls it off perfectly.
Pat Cashman is one of a kind. He ALWAYS made me laugh.
God, I miss this show.
@boojwahz

AHAHA this is beyond hilarious! xD
@vidmaker8294 Brawl is crap compared to his previous job working on “Bill Nye the Science guy”.
Fantastic!
What a talent. Also loved him as the D.J. And father of Sluggy
LOL. Ending was AWESOME!
If you move to LA, you might also move out because of traffic on 405… a different 405
@2Neptune
and close it the next, and reopen again after that
I loved this skit I would stay up late to

nowadays he’s doing the taco time
ads
“We’ve lost our lease! Can’t find it! Don’t care!” That was my favorite part.
Classic Pat Cashman! I loved watching him on “Almost Live”!
Just watched this again; almost pissed myself!
You’re right! The 90s in Seattle were great! And Almost Live was the sheeit. And on the radio we had Music with Mocowitz. (RIP)
You could run across the cast and crew filming almost anywhere you went. I left ’cause i couldn’t take the constant gray and rain, and the traffic on 405!
Drank a lot of Raindoggies! And Beppo’s was cool! Damn, I almost miss Seattle….NOT!
I’m in Merlin, Oregon and it’s much better here.
God this is hilarious! You had to be here in Seattle in the ’90s to really appreciate Almost Live, what a time!
I love this one and the sequel so, so much…I don’t know how he can put that much energy and volume into that whole thing and not pass out. No matter what skit he’s in, Pat Cashman never fails to be completely and utterly freaking hilarious.
i bet i know the most about pat out of everyone who has commented…
A local buissness at the time ran ads at the time like this one, they were always closing, had sales, etc. That is why the audience “gets” it early on!!!
Thye will open another store in a week!
THIS. IS. AMAZING.
Yeah, the Pioneer Square rug places.
OMG, I love Pat Cashman! It’s always nice to hear him do commercials on TV and the radio. He has a wonderful radio voice. I didn’t know he was in Hello Dolly at the 5th Ave Theatre. I wish I could have seen that! Anyway, this commerical from Almost Live is absolutely hysterical! LMAO! Sad, but it really fits the times with all these places going out of business recently.
I still have a cassette recording of Pat from his morning show on The Buzz 100.7FM. That seems like a long time ago. He and Lisa Foster really did make a good team.
