Easily one of the best top ten bits that Almost live did. Cashman pulls it off perfectly.

If you move to LA, you might also move out because of traffic on 405… a different 405 :P

“We’ve lost our lease! Can’t find it! Don’t care!” That was my favorite part.

Classic Pat Cashman! I loved watching him on “Almost Live”!

You’re right! The 90s in Seattle were great! And Almost Live was the sheeit. And on the radio we had Music with Mocowitz. (RIP)
You could run across the cast and crew filming almost anywhere you went. I left ’cause i couldn’t take the constant gray and rain, and the traffic on 405!
Drank a lot of Raindoggies! And Beppo’s was cool! Damn, I almost miss Seattle….NOT!
I’m in Merlin, Oregon and it’s much better here.

ostrich67 December 15, 2010 at 4:57 am

God this is hilarious! You had to be here in Seattle in the ’90s to really appreciate Almost Live, what a time!

SpamWarrior3000 December 15, 2010 at 5:39 am

I love this one and the sequel so, so much…I don’t know how he can put that much energy and volume into that whole thing and not pass out. No matter what skit he’s in, Pat Cashman never fails to be completely and utterly freaking hilarious.

i bet i know the most about pat out of everyone who has commented…

VideyoJunkei December 15, 2010 at 6:30 am

A local buissness at the time ran ads at the time like this one, they were always closing, had sales, etc. That is why the audience “gets” it early on!!!

2Neptune December 15, 2010 at 6:38 am

Thye will open another store in a week!

EngulfedHearts December 15, 2010 at 7:04 am

cochranexyz December 15, 2010 at 7:05 am

Yeah, the Pioneer Square rug places.

bloofan06 December 15, 2010 at 7:39 am

OMG, I love Pat Cashman! It’s always nice to hear him do commercials on TV and the radio. He has a wonderful radio voice. I didn’t know he was in Hello Dolly at the 5th Ave Theatre. I wish I could have seen that! Anyway, this commerical from Almost Live is absolutely hysterical! LMAO! Sad, but it really fits the times with all these places going out of business recently.

Captmiloman December 15, 2010 at 8:02 am

I still have a cassette recording of Pat from his morning show on The Buzz 100.7FM. That seems like a long time ago. He and Lisa Foster really did make a good team.
